Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain, who was born as Kurt Donald Cobain was the lead singer and guitarist for the legendary band Nirvana. Nirvana was a top sensation in the mid eighties and yearly nineties. Kurt Cobain was a successful young musician, singer, songwriter and talented artist. He and his buddy Krist Novoselic formed the band Nirvana from Washington in 1985. They were a top rated band in the Seattle area, and truly did wow many people around the world. In only a short period of time, the band established a wealthy fortune with their music and fan base. The biggest breakthrough came for them after signing a record deal with DGC Records. Nirvana saw the highest peak in listeners once their second album was released under the name Nevermind.

Unfortunately, the Kurt Cobain legend did not live on past the age of 27. Kurt died at the incredibly young age of twenty seven, just like many other music legends. He now joins Club 27, also known as Forever 27 Club. Club 27 is a group of legendary musicians, artists, singers and song writers. All these wonderful people lost their lives at the age of 27. Kurt Cobain was suffering from chronic bronchitis and did suffer from regular pains because of a non-treated stomach condition. Even though he had a medical condition, he still took on with experimenting with drugs. His first drug contact was at the age of thirteen with marijuana. He then became addicted and started using various other types of drugs and alcohol.

As mentioned by his partner, Krist, he would take anything in his body, if it could just mess him up. As the Nirvana band increased in fame and popularity, Cobain’s heroin addiction started increasing as well. He had a relationship with another woman by the name Love. He and she were going to have a baby soon, and that was when an attempt was made to go into a rehab center. Right after he left the rehab center, Nirvana took on a tour through Australia. When he came back home from the tour, he started back with his heroin use and it simply started getting worse. In 1993, before a show, he was overdosed on heroin and Love injected him with Narcan. Everything then came back to normal for the show itself.

Through the age of 27, Kurt Cobain went through a lot of trouble and trauma. While he was in Germany for a tour, he was diagnosed with severe laryngitis and bronchitis. He was rushed to a hospital in Rome for treatment. At the hospital, he had tried to attempt suicide, but his wife Courtney Love brought him back to life. His body was later found in his Lake Washington home by an Electrician who was installing a security system. Kurt had escaped his recovery center in Los Angeles and flew back to Seattle, without anyone knowing. He is now a member of Club 27, a true legend of music.
